How to Modify the Shape of a Pad in SI Wave
In SI Wave, there are various kinds of pads. Some pads have vias in the lower layers, but the majority have a pad only on the top or bottom layer. The shapes of these pads can be modified by adjusting their points.
Steps to Modify Pad Shapes
- Click on the shape you wish to modify.
- Select Edit Pad Stack.
- Choose from different pad shapes, such as:
- Circle - Modify the radius.
- Rectangle - Adjust the dimensions.
- Polygon - Modify the points by clicking on P.
For polygons, you can alter the shape by modifying the points. This allows for customization of the pad's geometry to suit your design needs.
