When you upload any model into SI Wave, you often encounter hundreds or even thousands of nets. Selecting specific groups of nets can be challenging, especially when you need to switch between different selections. Here's a guide on how to efficiently manage and save your net selections for future use.
Steps to Smart Selection
- Select a Group of Nets: Begin by selecting the group of nets you wish to work with.
- Save Your Selection: Once you've selected a group, you can save this selection by pushing it into a stack. This allows you to easily retrieve it later.
- Select Additional Groups: You can continue selecting additional groups of nets. Each selection can be saved in the same manner.
- Restore Previous Selections: To restore a previous selection, simply press the corresponding button. This will cycle through your saved selections, allowing you to revisit any group you've saved.
Benefits of Using the Stack Method
- Efficiently manage large numbers of nets.
- Quickly switch between different net selections.
- Save time by avoiding the need to manually reselect nets.

Title: "2mins SIwave: Smart Selection of Nets" "How to make smart selections of nets in SI Wave. Typically, when you upload any model, there are hundreds or even thousands of nets. Sometimes, you select a group of them, for example, I can select this group.
You go and do something, then you come back and select another group, and so on. Sometimes, you would like to go back and reselect some of them, but it's hard to find them among the thousands of nets you have. One solution is to save your selections or any function or process you want to do.
When you select a group of nets or any function, just save them and push them into a stack. For instance, I did this for this group. I can select them, then go and select another group. As you can see, you can see the selection here. I will push these ones as well.
Suppose, for example, I want to restore the first one. If you press this, you get the first selection I made. Press again, and you get the selection I made first. That's how you can save all your selections for future use. Thank you."
