Many engineers need to perform thermal stress analysis, where the thermal results are used as an input to the structural analysis. The main setup for this kind of simulation is based on connecting the results part of the thermal analysis to the setup part of the structural analysis. An important note to keep in mind in case you have a model with solid and surface bodies is that you will need to have two “imported Body temperature”, one for each body type. The mesh does not have to be the same in both analyses, as it will automatically adjusted to the new mesh.
