Technical Sales and Account Manager - ANSYS Software

This is a team environment where you will have a book of business to grow as well as doing prospecting and new client development. You will be responsible for sales activities from lead generation through closing the deal.
Ozen Engineering Inc. is the Northern California ANSYS Channel Partner, we sell ANSYS simulation software and services to start-ups and small to mid-size companies primarily via face-to-face contact along with phone and email.
What you love to do:
- Enjoy the hunt. Lead generation through cold calling, independent research on new territories and logos, lunch and learns, LinkedIn Sales Navigator…etc.
- Meet with new and existing customers (you will have a Sales Engineer with you for sales calls)
- Maintain a healthy pipeline with qualified prospects and provide accurate details outlining current pipeline and forecast for new sales and renewal business. (Salesforce.com experience preferred.)
- Listen to existing and prospective customers and create written proposals/quotations to meet their needs
- Enjoy learning. We all learn and maintain a high-level understanding of the various ANSYS tools
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a business-oriented field preferred
- Strong work ethic, great communication skills, good listener, persuasive, self-motivated, collaborative, confident, intelligent and competitive
- 3+ years of experience in field or inside sales is preferred
- Ability to deliver technical presentations to a wide audience
- Passion to collaborate in a team environment
- Ability to maintain an upbeat and positive attitude always
- Must demonstrate and maintain the highest ethical standards
