Complete Solution for the Simulation of Motor and Drive Systems

As products become more complex and smarter, a complete solution for Motor and Drive Systems for Power Electronics, HEV and A&D is needed. Process compression through simulation performance and workflow improvements is needed to achieve this. Additionally, easier integration into other system modeling environments through FMI support is key.

Simplorer 16.0 provides new power device models to enable design of more efficient drive systems. This is realized through the SiC and Si Power Devices library and the Controller ICs library.

Improved simulation speed and accuracy are part of Simplorer R16, with a 10x speedup in ROM link (reported by the Maxwell solver team), a 15-20 percent speedup in large simulations and a 20-30 percent speedup in co-simulation.

Simplorer 16.0 contains features that enhance mechanical load modeling through the Functional Mock-up Interface (FMI) and Modelica models. With Simplorer 16.0, there is improved support of FMI 1.0. Simplorer can also compile and include Modelica models.
